This was one of those portraits that remind me how much I love painting faces. Unfortunately, the half-hour portrait size didn't allow me to paint all the hair piled into a big, beautiful bun on top of this boy's fantastic face. We'll have to do a larger portrait at some point. I did, however, get a hug at the end of the sitting, which almost made up for not getting to paint the bun. Currently signing people up for sittings this weekend.
