I had a busy weekend at the Katonah Museum of Art—14
portraits in two days! I’ll have to wait until after Christmas to post the
majority of the portraits, but there are a few that I can post now. This little
girl was adorable, and she sat surprisingly still for someone so young. When
her mom saw the finished painting, she got teary-eyed, and the girl turned her
little ruffle-y self around in her seat and without a word wrapped her arms
around her mom’s neck. That got me teary-eyed.
I’ll be painting portraits again this weekend, at the Croton
Artisans Holiday Boutique at the Croton Municipal Building. Shoot me an email
