Well, it’s high time I posted some
of the portraits I’ve been working on. Here is the first of four gorgeous siblings
that I painted earlier this year. These paintings are a little larger than the
half-hour portraits and took considerably longer. It was nice to be able to
spend more time on some portraits; I haven’t done that in a while. These were
painted from photos, as they live out of state, but after spending so many
hours concentrating on their faces, I feel almost as if I know these sweet kids
a little bit.
